1. Who we are

Wantd is operated by Tomiwa Williams, trading as Wantd. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Data controller: Tomiwa Williams t/a Wantd, Suite 607, 80A Ruskin Avenue, Welling DA16 3QQ, United Kingdom.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — your email address and a hashed password.
  • Payment information— handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your full card details on Wantd’s systems; we only retain the customer ID and subscription status returned by Stripe.
  • Service configuration — the keywords you set up and the subreddits you monitor.
  • Usage data — basic logs of how you interact with the dashboard, used to operate, debug, and improve the service.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To deliver the lead-monitoring service you signed up for.
  • To process subscription payments.
  • To send transactional emails — billing receipts, security alerts, and important service updates.
  • To diagnose problems and improve the product.

The legal bases we rely on are performance of a contract (to provide the service you have purchased) and our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the service).

4. Third-party processors

We rely on a small number of vetted processors to run the service:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Google Gemini API — AI classification of public Reddit content against your keywords.

Each processor only receives the data they need to perform their function and is bound by their own data-protection terms.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days of receiving your request, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

6. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification).
  • Have your data erased.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, email tomiwa@wantd.tech from the address registered on your account.

7. Contact
